Snow and Sickness

We got our first round of "winter weather" this week in the form of a beautiful snow fall.  Let me just say, I am quite the scrooge when it comes to snow, ice, and well winter in general.  I dislike being cold with every fiber of my being.  Snow is an amazing creation.  But then, all of God's creations are amazing.  Call me Crutchfield, but when I see snow, I see the disgusting mess and mudiness that is left behind once it is all gone.

The other, and probably more important reason I dislike winter, is the sickness that always seems to accompany it's arrival.  I have been battling this sinus infection/cold for weeks now.  Dr. Pinter finally gave me an antibiotic to see if I could get over the hurdle and start getting better.  Not so much.  I guess I will just be sickly.

We have spent zero time outside playing in the winter wonderland.  I did have a small video on my phone of Bo and Pepper running through the snow (with a couple of glimpses of PJ standing in the middle of the yard watching).  But I can't figure out how to convert it to a format that the computer will play.  So, you don't get the pleasure of seeing Bo hike his leg on the cynder block.  Sorry!  :)

I do, however, have a picture of the outside temperature my car showed on the way to work this morning.

A little chilly, eh?
Please say a prayer for PJ's Papaw Young.  He is in the Arkansas Heart Hospital battling pneumonia, lots of fluid, and infection.

I'll update when I know more...

  1. Sorry you are under the weather. Hope you get to feeling better soon! I recently found this website http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html
that you can download a free video converter so that you can convert your videos to different formats/files to play wherever. You might give it a try!

  2. I hope Papaw Young is doing better, and your cold is improving. The bump picture on the previous post was really cute, I thought! Boo for jury duty...that's terrible timing. I posted some pics on my blog of the boys in the snow...not depressing, for a change. LOL! It'll be 50 degress by the end of the week if the weather people are right...I know you'll be glad! :)
