Six Glorious Years

Last Saturday, PJ and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary.  It is funny how that can seem both ridiculously impossible and then the exact opposite all at the same time!  We didn't really do anything exciting.  Thursday night, we went to Colton's Steakhouse (mainly because I didn't have anything to cook, and he didn't get home from jury duty until 7:00!).  So when Saturday arrived, we decided it would be best to eat at home.  I went to the grocery store, while he cut firewood for the upcoming blizzard.  Then I cooked a brisket, ranch potatoes, Velveeta Shells & Cheese (a real treat at our house!) and crescent rolls.  It was a nice, quiet evening at home.  I have a sneaky suspicion there aren't too many of those left in our future!

I did get beautiful flowers delivered to me at work on Friday afternoon.  The card was even personally signed!  And it didn't just say "Love, PJ" like most of them do!  It was very sweet!
