That's it folks, I am officially too sweet! The diagnosis is in. I received the call about 5:30 last night from the doctor's office letting me know that I have gestational diabetes. Great! The next step? Get scheduled for diabetic counseling to relearn how to eat, learn how to test my own sugar, record my readings, and whatever else you have to learn.
I've always known I was extra sweet, but never thought this would be the way the world found out!
And to top it off, it's snowing AGAIN. I'm so tired of winter and snow. The news this morning said this is Arkansas's fifth winter weather event in a month. Really? This is Arkansas, not Wisconsin!
Oh well. Time to get to work. I'll let you know how diabetic counseling goes. (I always knew I needed counseling, just not that it was diabetic!)
